In this video, I'll walk you through the entire process of installing MX Linux onto an external hard drive.

Installing to an external hard drive is a great way to try MX Linux without affecting your computer's installed operating system so you can start using MX Linux before you actually replace your Windows OS.

MX Linux is an incredibly stable and fast Linux operating system, and has been sitting at the top of the Distrowatch charts for some time now [https://distrowatch.com].

►► PREPARATION

01:22 Download MX Linux with qBittorrent.
05:18 Download/Install Rufus & Ventoy.
09:42 Create a bootable MX Linux installer USB with Rufus.
11:53 Create a bootable MX Linux installer USB with Ventoy.
14:50 Reboot into computer's UEFI/BIOS settings.
17:23 Edit the UEFI/BIOS settings.
18:14 Launch the MX Linux installer from the USB drive.
