In this video, I'll walk you through the process of installing Lubuntu 22.04 LTS onto an old 2009 MacBook Pro. Lubuntu is extremely light on system resources so it is a perfect base to install Ubuntu Studio 22.04 LTS on to. Ubuntu Studio is an amazing OS for content creators, full to the brim with a plethora of amazing apps for audio, graphics, video and photography work.

This install video is Part 1 of a 4-part series. In Part 2 I'll walk you through how I configure Lubuntu. In Part 3 we'll theme Lubuntu and finally in Part 4 we'll install Ubuntu Studio and I'll demonstrate how I connect an external soundcard and then set up the MacBook for audio work.
