Enhancing LGBTQ+ inclusive campus climate: a discussion of impactful practices | Will Sherry
As the University of Michigan's Spectrum Center celebrates its 50th anniversary of higher education LGBTQ work, its director Will Sherry details components of campus that can optimize protective factors around the mental health of LGBTQ members on campus. Especially after the COVID-19 pandemic forced many LGBTQ students to return to places where they were not able to actualize their identities like they could on a college campus, the Spectrum Center is looking to create thriving frameworks to support these students.
