Here's a fun Photoshop Elements Text Effect, putting some text behind a person in a photo.

This Photoshop Elements trick requires several steps, removing any unwanted people or objects, copying the subject to a new layer, removing the subject from the background layer, adding in a new text layer, then adding a gradient to the text.
