I'll show you how to get this dual tone lightning effect in Photoshop. Open the gradient map by clicking this option and then double-click on gradient properties and double-click on this white dot button. Now select the brighter portion of any color and hit the OK button. Now again open the gradient map and double-click on the properties and change the desired color by the white button. Let's select a wider portion of cyan color and then hit OK. And here change its location to 30 percent. Now press the short key from the keyboard and start brushing on one side like this. So, this way you will get a dual tone lightning effect.
