How to export data from a LibreOffice (libre office) or open office base database table using sql and text tables to create a csv file on the Apple Mac file system, the process is similar for windows.
LibreOffice (Open Office) Base Programming Book (affiliate) https://amzn.to/3wdPFVq
I cover the hsqldb sql used in creating a text table in base, then the sql used to link this text table to a system file, when this sql "set table" query is executed it creates the csv file on your hard drive.
Finally I use an insert select query to populate the text table and which also populates the text file at the same time.
LibreOffice base (like open office base) is the only free open source database that is an adequate replacement for Microsoft Access, It's not as pretty but for your own projects it can get the job done.
