Challenger Lee Kindlon defeats longtime District Attorney in Albany County primary race
Surrounded by supporters, family and friends, Capital Region Defense Attorney Lee Kindlon declared victory in the Albany County Democratic District Attorney primary on Tuesday night.
As Kindlon celebrated at The Warbler in Delmar, there was a muted atmosphere at David Soares' watch party at the Copper Crow in Albany. At about 10:30 p.m., Soares took the podium, thanking his supporters, but also said he was going to wait to see more results come in.
