SOLIDWORKS PDM 2025 has several great enhancements that greatly improve the user experience. This video highlights the significant updates in SOLIDWORKS PDM 2025, including the installation of the electrical connector during client setup and the addition of the electrical node in the admin tool.

Customization options for BOM and file structure settings have been introduced. Now the order of your files in your feature tree and the PDM add-in will match up. Additionally, email notification features improved dramatically with the addition of Gmail, Yahoo, and Office 365 to the potential email domains.

The tool has also been updated with new user-tracking capabilities. Now, you can see when users log in and log out of the vault. Administrators also have enhanced control over permissions and default BOM views, while client enhancements include a new command manager tab and streamlined file editing workflows.

The introduction of thumbnail previews and Excel export options improves communication and visual representation of files. Overall, these updates aim to enhance user experience and efficiency in managing projects.
