Instagram does not have a native feature that allows users to forward voice messages directly within the app. Instagram's direct messaging system primarily focuses on text-based messaging, photos, and videos, and forwarding voice messages is not a built-in option.
If you receive a voice message in Instagram Direct, you can reply to it or listen to it within the conversation. However, there is no direct "forward" button like you might find in other messaging apps.
If you really need to share the voice message with someone else, here's a workaround you can try:
Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
Go to the conversation where you received the voice message.
Play the voice message to listen to it.
While listening to the voice message, use your device's screen recording feature to capture the audio. The process may vary depending on your device and operating system. Usually, you can access the screen recording feature from the Control Center (iOS) or the Quick Settings panel (Android).
Once you have recorded the voice message, stop the screen recording.
The screen recording will be saved as a video file on your device. Now you can share this video file with others through other messaging apps or platforms.
Keep in mind that screen recording someone else's voice message without their permission may not be appropriate in all situations, so always consider the privacy and consent of the original sender before sharing their content.
