INGREDIENTS
140g (1 cup) of all-purpose flour
a pinch of salt
1 egg
35ml (1/4 cup) of water
10ml (1 tbsp) of vegetable oil
60g of raisins
30ml (2 tbsp) of rum
55g (1/4 cup) of butter
70g (1/2 cup) of breadcrumbs
800g of apples
70g (1/4 cup) of sugar
30g of pine nuts (toasted)
Lemon (zest)
Cinnamon
Butter for brushing
Powdered sugar
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the flour, salt, egg, water, and oil and mix. Add the oil and knead it to obtain compact dough. Cover with cling film and set aside for 30 minutes.
2. In a small bowl add the raisins and rum and set aside for a few minutes.
3. In a pan add the butter and let it melt. Add the breadcrumbs and the breadcrumbs and toast it for a few minutes.
4. Peel and slice the apples and transfer them to the bowl. Add the sugar, pine nuts (toasted), lemon (zest), cinnamon and mix all.
5. After time has elapsed transfer the dough to the working surface and roll it out to form a rectangle.

7. Place the mixture with the apples on top of it and roll up the strudel.
8. Transfer the strudel to the baking tray covered with parchment paper and brush it with melted butter. Bake in oven at 180°C/360°F for 40 minutes.
9. Decorate the apple strudel with powdered sugar after baking, cut on slices, and serve.
