There is a lot of work to be done as we hit the ground running. All the things we brought with us need to be processed into their more useful versions while we also scout out what our local embark location has to offer. Good biomes, especially Joyus Wilds, have a lot of unique things to offer, but the star of the show has to be sun berries. When brewed into Sunshine, it becomes the most valuable alcohol in the entire game, making for either an enticing trade good or a very happy mood when drunk. Good for the health and economy of the fort either way.
