Designing a Hospital for a Pandemic
Early in the design process for the new 16-story inpatient tower at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. BJC and the design team took a pause, and when they regrouped, it was full steam ahead to determine what changes could be made to prepare BJC for the next pandemic.
