Here is the step by step method to to make page numbers start on page 2 in google docs
1. Open Google Doc Document
2. Go to "Format" option
3. Click on "Page Numbers" option to open Page numbers dashboard
4. Under 'Numbering" option enter 0 in "start at" box
5. Click to insert page numbers
6. double Click on the header of first page
7. Right tick "Different first page"
8. Delete Zero
9. Click inside the Google Docs
