If you want to temporarily disable notifications for a particular application only on Android then let us see how to do it. Now I am using a Samsung device. I will pull down to open this Notification center. I will pull it down again. Then I will swipe it to the left. I will press and hold on this Do Not Disturb and then select this option "Details". Now here what I will do is, I will select this option "Add Schedule" and here I have the option to select on which days I want to disable notification. Right now I have selected all the days and then from here, you can set the duration until which you want to disable the notification. Now here there are two timings start and end. So let me set the starting time for Do Not Disturb. So let it be from 10:00 O'clock and let me go to end time, until let us say 4:00 O'clock. After that I will select Done. So, I have set the timing from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on all the days. After that let me give a name to this schedule. Let us see Office and then save. Now let me go to "App Notifications" and right now no apps are allowed to send notifications during that time. But suppose if I want only one app to stop sending notification than what I will do is, here you can see there is mentioned "Allow during Do Not Disturb". So, let me select "Add Apps". Select "All". If I select All, all the applications will be able to send me notifications even though Do Not Disturb is on. So, what I will do is, I will select that application for which I want to stop notification and suppose if it is Gmail, I will tap on it. So, Gmail is deselected and then "Done" and let me go back. Now what happens is during this timing from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm everyday, all the applications will be able to send me notification except Gmail. So, this is how you can temporarily disable notification for a particular app on Android device.
