In this video we are going to show you how to connect a LIDL Smart Plug (SilverCrest) to a Philips Hue Bridge with the Philips Hue app. Thanks to LIDL we now have another affordable alternative for a smart plug besides the IKEA Trådfri Wireless Control Outlet. This works due to the Zigbee protocol and we will show you how to do this step by step using the Philips Hue App for Android or iOS. You can easily connect any Zigbee protocol product with ease to your Philips Hue Bridge. Just pressing “Search for light” in the Philips Hue app will make the Power Plug get detected in the app and get connected to the Philips Hue Bridge.
