How to Connect an IKEA TRÅDFRI Remote to a PHILIPS HUE BRIDGE with Touchlink Method
In this video we are going to show you how to connect an IKEA Trådfri Remote to a Philips Hue Bridge using the Touchlink method. You have to use an IKEA Trådfri bulb in order for the Trådfri Remote to work because the Remote will connect directly to the bulb and not to the Philips Hue Bridge itself. You will have to connect the IKEA Trådfri Remote to the Philips Hue Bridge with the Touchlink method just in order to make it work on the same Zigbee channel. Then you will pair the Remote with the Trådfri bulb and then connect the Trådfri bulb to the Philips Hue bridge system using the on/off six times power cycle method.
