How to Make Rewind Effect in CapCut

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to create the rewind effect in CapCut:

1. *Import Your Video Footage:*
Open CapCut and start a new project.
Click on the "Import" button and select the video footage to which you want to add the rewind effect.

2. *Copy and Paste the Desired Part:*
Identify the part of the footage where you want the rewind effect.
Cut (or copy) this part and paste it on top of the original footage.

3. *Reverse the Copied Clip:*
Select the copied clip.
Click on the "Reverse" button to reverse the playback of the clip.

4. *Adjust the Playback Speed:*
Select the reversed clip.
Go to the speed settings on the upper right-hand side.
Increase the speed to create a fast-forward effect.

5. *Add Rewind Effect Overlay:*
Find a copyright-free rewind green screen effect overlay.
Import the overlay to your project.

6. *Remove Green Screen:*
Select the overlay clip.
Go to "Video Cutout" and enable "Chroma Key."
Use the color picker to select the green part of the overlay.
Adjust the strength to remove the green background.

7. *Make the Footage Black and White:*
Select the original footage.
Go to "Adjustments" and find "Saturation."
Decrease the saturation to your desired level to make it black and white.

8. *Match Overlay Length:*
Adjust the length of the overlay clip to match the original footage or vice versa.
You can either slow down the original footage or trim the overlay to match the desired length.

9. *Preview and Export:*
Preview your video to ensure the rewind effect looks as expected.
Once satisfied, save your project and export the video.

That's it! You've successfully created the rewind effect in CapCut.
