On D-Day June 6, 1944, American Troops landed on Omaha Beach. Several photographs and film was taken, but some are often confused to be taken on D-Day when they actually were not. On June 7, 1944 two photographers and a motion picture cameraman spotted a sinking LCVP and saw how a group of engineers rushed to their aid. In this Omaha Beach Normandy Invasion mini-documentary we look at the story of those famous photographs and motion picture film that were taken along the french coast on Omaha Beach.
