伟大的舵手 - The Great Helmsman (English Lyrics)
"The Great Helmsman" is an old and fairly unknown Chinese propaganda song written in 1975 about Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party and paramount leader of the People's Republic of China, Mao Tse-Tung, who became known as "The Great Helmsman" for his leadership of the CCP and China. The song's popularity however did not reach the height of other propaganda songs like "Sailing the Seas Depends on the Helmsman" or "The People of Yanbian Love Chairman Mao" as the song was written not long before Mao's death in 1976.
