Downloading and Installing R 4.2.2 on macOS with an Intel mac
Summary
Open Web Browser
Go to https://cran.r-project.org/
Select "Download R for macOS"
If on an Intel mac (Pre-2020, not M1/M2) select "R-4.2.2.pkg"
If on an ARM-based mac (Post 2020, should have m1/m2), select "R-4.2.2-arm64.pkg"
Once done downloading, open the installer
Follow prompts
After the installer finishes, verify the installation.
