Once finished mowing you will want to fully charge your battery, where you don't have to continue to jump start it.
When your riding lawn mower battery is dead or no longer has power to start your lawn tractor it is time to charge the battery. The battery charger we are using automatically detects 6V vs 12V and adjust the power for you. It is also sometimes called a trickle charger or battery maintainer where it will automatically shut itself off once the lawn mower battery is fully charged, preventing damage to the battery from being overcharged. This battery charger is compatible with all brands of lawn mowers including John Deere, Toro, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Honda, Grasshopper and more. So if your lawn mower is not starting and it is not making a clicking sound, that is a good indication the mower battery is run down. You can jump start the battery where you don't have to wait to mow, but you will want to eventually hook the battery up and fully charge it. If it does not hold a charge you will want to replace your battery.
