Senator John McCain, R-Ariz., made his first appearance in Little Rock since his campaign for president in 2008. Sen. McCain, who won the Republican nomination for president in 2008 but lost to President Barack Obama in the general election, addressed various current events, including immigration reform, gay marriage and the impending private-option health care vote in Arkansas.
This event was supposed to take place on March 22nd, however due to a scheduling conflict was moved to April 12th.
