An antique like this actually is often a more practical and budget-friendly choice than new if you need a huge, ultra high-performance pan, as copper pots this size (36cm/14.2" diameter, 2.5mm thick) are extremely expensive to make.
Collectible maker and hotel stamps like on this one will drive the price up, but an unmarked one of the same quality can often be found online, imported from the EU or UK and retinned for much less than a new one, and will be just as sturdy and perform as well.

I have a large inventory not listed and import them from EU regularly, and am mainly only retinning to order for now. So if there's a specific piece you're looking for or you would like advice on what copper pans to buy, I'm always happy to answer questions and show options available to reserve: email [email protected], message my Etsy account, or PM on Instagram (northcoastcopper.instagram.com) or Facebook (northcoastcopper.facebook.com).
