If the size of icons on Windows 10 desktop is huge then you can easily make it smaller.

Right click on the desktop and then select "Display settings".

You will see an option 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items: 100% (Recommended)

Make sure the slider is at 100%, if more than make it 100
