Day 1 of the first 2022 Formula One testing session is over, and wow, wasn’t it great to see cars back on the track? We got a first sneak peak at Alfa Romeo before they release their car, Max Verstappen ran onto the gravel, the Haas car got a lot of compliments, and Bottas might be in for a tough time this season. Though it’s too early to make any assumptions about how the cars will perform when it comes to race day, there is still a lot to learn. Let’s take a look at what Mercedes have to say about the first day and see who the biggest winners and losers were.
