2024 Chengdu Auto Show: Denza Z9 will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.
Denza Z9 was officially unveiled at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show. The new car is positioned as a large luxury sedan with pure electric and plug-in hybrid versions. The pre-sale price range is 339,800-389,800 yuan. All new cars will be equipped with Yisanfang technology and Yunnan-A body control system as standard, and will have high-end intelligent assisted driving capabilities. Denza Z9 is scheduled to be launched and delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the classic elements of the Denza Z9 GT in its design, and the front face shape is consistent with the Z9GT. The Z9's headlights have fine lines and are cleverly integrated with independent LED daytime running lights. Two laser radars are installed on both sides of the front bumper to support the car's high-end intelligent driving functions.
The front casing design of the pure electric model adopts a closed black diamond-shaped plaid decorative panel, while the plug-in hybrid model is equipped with an active air intake grille above the license plate frame, and a grille-shaped air intake grille is used on the front casing. The air intake design not only reflects the concept of environmental protection, but also takes into account the improvement of power performance.
When viewed from the side, the Denza Z9 adopts the sedan layout. The shape in front of the B pillar is similar to that of the Z9GT. The size of the rear triangular window has been enlarged, and the angle of the rear window has been slightly adjusted.
The rear profile of the Denza Z9 is significantly different from that of the Z9GT, as it adopts the rear structure of a sedan. The taillights also have a long and narrow design, and the inner light sources are divided into eight groups on each side, making them very recognizable when they are lit.
In terms of interior, the interior design was not revealed at this auto show. The new car is likely to follow the interior design of the Z9GT. The front seat configuration is the same as that of the Z9GT. The rear seat layout and space performance will be different depending on the vehicle model.
In terms of power, the Denza Z9 pure electric model has a total motor power of 710 kilowatts and a pure electric four-wheel drive range of 630km; the plug-in hybrid model has a 2.0T motor with a maximum power of 152 kilowatts and a total motor power of 640 kilowatts, with a comprehensive range of up to 1,100km.
