In today's video I wanted to shed light on pride since the month of June is coming shortly. Pride is way more than just rainbows, dancing, and music but deeply rooted in systemic discrimination that continues to this day. LGBTQ+ individuals, especially youth, are statistically prone to higher rates of depression, anxiety, suicide, and substance abuse. There are many ways to get involved including educated oneself and loved ones, supporting LGBTQ+ initiatives, and spending money on LGBTQ+ content creators rather than major corporations.
