Boom Boom Balloon Explosive Family Fun Raw Toy Review
Boom Boom Balloon is possible the BEST game / toy my family has enjoyed. It would be PERFECT as a game at children's birthday parties, far more exciting than pin the tail on the donkey!
I purchased this only because my son went crazy seeing it in Target. It was on special for $20 (Australian price). From the first play I could see how much fun my children were having so I started to record the raw energy and excitement of this amazingly simple toy. I just hope in my review I have captured the extreme fun and jeopardy this game has on offer. I have a hunch my 5 year old son is heavily influenced by the toy TV commercials he see's while watching cartoon shows, there have been a few toys he's really desired via this process. Boom Boom Balloon rides the same emotional roller coaster you find in the classic game KerPlunk, but the excitement level really ramps up the more those balloon spikes are pushed into the crazy faced balloon. You can also load your own balloons into the game and draw custom faces on them. I found using a lower quality balloon actually aids in getting an explosive result as the balloon pops. I think the best aspect to this game is it's simplicity, the rules are simple and easy to follow (even though my family played by modified rules), and I can assure you there is loads more fun in this game Vs anything you will find in a gaming app store.
Boom Boom Balloon comes with Balloon Frame, 10 Funny Face Balloons, 1 Die, 10 Sticks and game rules. The playing time is around 15 mins per balloon. The toys's box says it's for 2 and more players but my son loves to play a solo version of this game. It's slated for 8 years and up but my 5 year old son absolutely enjoyed this game. This game can be found in Toys R us, Target, K-mart, Walmart, Amazon and E-bay.
