WIPRO: Legal Issue Alert

Cognizent has settled a non-compete lawsuit filed by Wipro against its former CFO, Jatin Dalal. As part of the settlement, Cognizant will pay Rs 4 crore to Wipro. The lawsuit alleged that Dalal breached his non-compete and confidentiality obligations under his compensation agreements by joining Cognizant. Shares of Wipro Ltd ended at Rs 540.80, down by Rs 0.45 or 0.083%, on the BSE.
