In this video I go over how to transition your video clips with interesting fades and wipes. See the playlist down below if you are brand new to video editing on blender and are not sure how to do cuts and basic moving around of stuff, as that knowledge is assumed in this video.

Note that you can also crossfade your audio in the same menu, just select both audio clips. Also not that with audio it is pretty standard to have the audio of the clip that it is fading into be the only audio, but that is up to your creative design decision.
