I've had the idea of reviewing my first OpenGL game for a while and finally got around to doing it. I turned on the stream and just dove in. I didn't have an exact plan going into this and wanted to be a bit surprised by my old ideas or methods, as reviewing this would certainly jog my memory. I thought this might be an interesting thing to share with all of you.
Mainly, I wanted to make sure it still complied and update the build system to make it so that it would be manageable to clone and run. I also wanted to make it installable, so that is would be somewhat of an example of how to release a program or send your game to a non-programmer friend that would just want to run an executable and not run into troubleshooting issues. Finally, I wanted to see about what improvements could be easily made, or if it was deemed "too badly designed/too much spaghetti," and a re-write would be easier.
