How To Split Or Cut Video In Shotcut Video Editor - Shotcut Tutorial 2023 #2
In this book we will see how to split or cut video in shotcut video editor
----
first save the project and click on start or open it from recent projects list.
Import the video clips which you want to edit. play the video to check where you want to split it.
Now drag & drop the video on timeline to start editing.
Play and pause the video whereever you want to split i.e. cut the clip in two parts. Or drag the playhead to the location where you want to split the clip.
To split the click on split at playhead button.
You can see clip on timeline got splitted in two parts. to select it click on any of the part.
Or to splti the clip take the playhead where you want to split the clip and hit S key on keyboard to split the clip on timeline.
To cut the clip on timeline select the clip and click on cut button or hit ctrl+x buttons on keyboard
