Agave syrup isn’t as healthy as you might think it is, just because it’s “natural.”

If you’re not experiencing any chronic health issue, I recommend using sweeteners like real maple syrup, unprocessed honey, and monk fruit because they are nutritious and tend to be sweeter than table sugar so you don’t need as much.  We also favor them because they contain nutrients that artificial or zero calorie sweeteners do not.

Remember to keep in mind that just because these sweeteners a bit better for you, it doesn’t give you free license to eat high amounts of these two without it affecting your health.
