People want to be heard. Instead of responding, truly hear what the other person is saying.

Clear up any misunderstandings. The person speaking to you should be your life's most vital person.

Also, only have one conversation at a time. So don't respond to an email or text while talking on the phone.

When communicating with a friend, you can use acronyms and informal language,
