First import video and click on play button to check it.
To set the end point drag the right white arrow till that point.
To set the beginning point drag the left white arrow till that point.
Now add only trimmed part to playlist, drag & drop it on timeline, click on the play button to check it.
Thought we have trimmed clip we can trim it on timeline.
For that just drag left or right sides of video.
Same way you can trim audio also.
