Heroes of American Manufacturing Meco Corporation
The Heroes of American Manufacturing video series took us to Greeneville, Tennessee where Meco Corporation, a client of UT CIS, shared their story. Meco’s capabilities include metal stamping, deep draw, CNC machining, welding, powder coating, assembly, packaging, and design support. Founded in 1959, Meco Corporation has manufactured steel folding furniture, step stools, OEM components, and barbecue grills. The company has manufactured millions of grills in Tennessee. Meco’s mission is to honor customers’ needs by emphasizing service, a commitment to the quality of products, and the creation of an environment in which employees share in their growth.
