You MUST stay in this bamboo villa in Bali- Cheapest & best in Sidemen - Balikayanas bamboo villa
Staying in a bamboo villa has been a bucket list item for us for a long time now. And the best place to do this is in Bali- Sidemen in East Bali, to be precise. Sidemen is a quaint little village in Bali that doesn’t make it to many Bali itineraries. This makes it the perfect place to take it slow, get away from the hustle and bustle of tourism and enjoy the raw, natural and beautiful countryside of Bali, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery.
There are many resorts that offer Bamboo villa stays in Sidemen.
These villas can range from INR 15K per night to even INR 60K per night.
They are booked out way in advance. We waited for 4 months for a particular villa to free up but couldn’t get it!
Finally, we ended up booking the Balikayanas and we are so glad we did.
It was a beautiful, rather large, 2-storey bamboo villa. Open concept living with 2 open bedrooms, a private plunge pool, and even an outdoor Balinese shower and bath. I also got myself a flower bath here during my stay.
Food here in the resort was amazing! I didn’t feel like getting out of the resort at all.It was certainly the most unique stay we ever had. We were a little bit concerned at night due to everything being so open! But there was no reason to be concerned at all!
Overall, an amazing stay experience!
