Devolro — это анаграмма имени основателя фирмы, нашего бывшего соотечественника Эдуарда Орлова: если прочитать Devolro с конца, то получится Orlov Ed. Его марку несут доработанные пикапы Toyota Tundra. Причем эти машины, построенные в Северном Майами-Бич, во многом ориентированы на российских любителей экстремальных внедорожников и встречаются также на наших дорогах. Поэтому стоит ли удивляться новому проекту Эда Орлова — «улучшенным» внедорожникам УАЗ под маркой Devolro?
Сама идея была озвучена пару лет назад. Предполагалось, что фирма займется в первую очередь переделками моделей Патриот и Карго, хотя в перспективе упоминались и «козлики» УАЗ Хантер. Среди возможных доработок назывались двигатели рабочим объемом 3,5 л «от известного производителя», усиленная ходовая часть, дополнительная шумоизоляция, качественная окраска, разнообразные внедорожные аксессуары и заново пошитые салоны. От базовых УАЗов оставались, по сути, лишь рама да кузов. Компания сообщала о переговорах с силовыми структурами на предмет госзакупок таких машин, а для снижения цены рассматривалась возможность производства внедорожников Devolro UAZ в России. Однако события на валютном рынке заставили на время забыть об «американских УАЗах».
Но теперь проект возрождается: фирма только что объявила, что первые четыре автомобиля Devolro UAZ появятся в сентябре—октябре этого года. Причем, судя по фото, сопровождающему известие, это будут как раз доработанные Хантеры! Технических подробностей пока никаких. Но на изображении видно, что кузов «козлика» остался без изменений — за исключением фронтальной части, украшенной вставкой с логотипом Devolro. Также среди отличий — новый усиленный бампер с «люстрой» и мощными буксирными крюками, светодиодные фары, экспедиционный багажник и легкосплавные колеса с зубастыми шинами.
«Проект будет интересным», — сообщает компания Devolro в соцсетях и предлагает внимательно следить за новостями. А на вопрос испаноязычного читателя о цене последовал четкий ответ: 25 тысяч долларов, то есть примерно 1,4 млн рублей.

But now the project is reborn: the firm just announced that the first four cars Devolro UAZ will appear in September—October this year. And, judging by the photo accompanying the news, it will be just a modified Hunter! Technical details no. But the image shows that the body is "goat" remained unchanged — with the exception of the front, decorated with inset logo Devolro.
