Stonehenge: An Ancient Calendar
Stonehenge is an ancient stone monument located in Wiltshire, England. Believed to be over 4,000 years old, the monument is noteworthy for more than just its age. The stone circle appears to have been used as a type of ancient calendar, aligning with the sunrise on the summer solstice. Despite years of study, we are still not sure of everything this site was used for.
