Joe is a cochlear implant recipient. He is also an honorary member of the Ramapo Munsee Lenape Nation, and a skilled artisan who wishes to share his passion for painting and carving with others who have been granted the gift of hearing at the Westchester Medical Center's Cochlear Implant Center.
