The river, eroding its channel inward and outward, thus forms deep valleys and gorges. Over time, the river itself can become shallow and even completely disappear, but instead create magnificent natural objects.
These amazing natural objects, which amaze with their unusual appearance and bizarre shapes, are most often called "#canyons" in the Western Hemisphere, and the term "#gorges" is more common in Europe.
