Rawalpindi-Islamabad Monorail services | Chinese firm sees monorail service feasible | Urdu / Hindi
The Chinese Civil Engineering Corporation (CCEC) has expressed interest in the construction of the 100 kilometers (km) long monorail service in Pakistan from Rawat to Islamabad International Airport (IIA). It has termed the project viable, environment friendly, and low-cost. The monorail will be powered by electricity, thus, promoting green development in Pakistan under CPEC.
