Eukaryotic cells have three different types of RNA polymerases, known as RNA Pol 1, RNA Pol 2, and RNA Pol 3. These enzymes are responsible for transcribing different classes of RNA molecules in eukaryotic cells. The three eukaryotic RNA polymerases have different functions and are regulated by different mechanisms, which allows for fine-tuning of gene expression in response to changing cellular needs.
