Deep cut on face is not a simple one to treat. Usually the face has 9 aesthetic subunits which we divide into and while repairing one it should not encroach over the other subunit. That need to be taken care. For that it requires cleaning and thorough wash of the wound is necessary. It will remove all the dirt which is in the wound. This will prevent further tattooing of the wound if any dirt remains inside the wound. After that the wound is being closed in multiple layers by using suture materials that are very thin as the thickness of the hair. So this will give proper wound approximation. The edges will be approximated and a proper wound can be treated apart from that new studies have shown that injecting under the wound and applying suture strips over the wound helps in reducing the tension over the wound. This will prevent further scar formation. And the post procedural treatment requires removal of the suture as early as 5 days and the sun protection is as important to prevent scar formation.
