4k FSR DLSS alternative NOT FRAME GENERATION
TO enable 4k when you only have 1080p monitor:
-Open AMD software
-Go to Gaming then Display
-Enable Virtual Super Resolution VSR
-Enable GPU scaling
-You can now set desktop resolution to 3840x2160
---------------------------
-Set Game resolution to 3840x2160
-Disable FSR
-Set resolution Scale to 33%
33% is equivalent to FSR Ultra Performance
50% FSR Performance
57% FSR Balance
67% FSR Quality
77% FSR Ultra Quality
But you get Higher FPS using the OG Resolution Scale
-------------------------------------------------------------
FSR and DLSS are derived from Spatial Upscaling we have been using for over a decade. If this is the first time you're hearing this, it's because Spatial upscaling had been called many names like "Resolution Scale", "Image Scaling", or "Supersampling", or simply "Scaling".
With that said, here are the scaling settings of FSR and DLSS
DLSS render Scale. Check here for reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_le...
-33.30000 - DLSS Ultra Performance
-50.00000 - DLSS Performance
