Discord are releasing a new Beta Feature...
Discord is adding a new Nitro Feature which allows you to send longer messages than ever before! This is the final new feature that I will be covering in this small mini-series; as previously I covered the other Discord Beta features (the new discord profile with a customisable banner as well as an about me section, server identities and increased server limits too)! This new feature will allow users who have the $10 Discord Nitro Tier to double their message character count from 2,000 characters which is about 500 words to 4,000 characters! This would be useful for Discord Server owners, content creators and others when writing information channels and announcements, as they often require longer character counts.
All these new features are Discord Nitro based, and Discord is slowly rolling them out for more people to test. This coincides with Discord’s new deal with Epic Games which will allow people to get 3 months of Discord Nitro for free. This is part of their new plan to make Nitro more worth it, preventing people trying to get it for free and encouraging new users to purchase it.
This particular feature isn’t on many people’s clients yet, but a select few do have it with; all employees, some partners and other bug hunters being the main users to my knowledge.
In the background my friend is on Hypixel which is a Minecraft Java Edition server. He is on 1.8.9, and is playing Bedwars. I will soon be doing an SMP with other creators for background footage.
