-------------- Places visited on this tour:
Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam, with 9 million inhabitants. Before, until 1975, it was called Saigon. In 1976, in memory of Ho Chi Minh, a Vietnamese revolutionary, politician, writer, poet and journalist who led Vietnam's independence movement from 1941, Saigon was renamed "Ho Chi Minh City".
Fun fact: officially the city has 9 million inhabitants and 7 million registered motorcycles! It's insane!
To get to know Ho Chi Minh City we need to do two things: ride a motorbike and eat the food.
Drivers are extremely careful in Ho Chi Minh City traffic, which is a very well-organized chaos as shown in this video.
On the motorbike ride through the city's crazy and organized traffic, we were able to see a sunset among the skyscrapers, the historic center and taste Vietnamese food.
What can I say about the motorcycle tour? I'll tell you that I loved it! It was an excellent way to get to know how the city works.
