"I woke up early in the morning, it was still dark outside, but the blizzard was still making noise. The fireplace went out, only the coals left from the firewood were slowly smoldering, emitting a pleasant red light. I threw in some more firewood, and the fireplace flared up with renewed vigor. The house warmed up, and it became warm here again. Today I planned to continue my route up the mountain, but the weather conditions made it clear to me that I would have to stay in this tree house for a few more days. This tree house was intended for a small group of travelers. Any traveler whose route passed near this place could stay here. This cabin didn't require keys, just an accurate map and instructions on how to get in. The cabin was small, but very necessary. It was a lifesaver for travelers in bad weather. This time I needed the cabin, so that's how I ended up here. I decided to go down the stairs into the forest to chop some firewood. Then I went upstairs again and decided to cook myself some lunch. Suddenly I heard a door creak in the floor, then I saw it open. I was very scared, because I wasn't expecting anyone to visit in the empty winter forest. I stood in the corner of the room, scared, holding a wooden stick in my hands. A man of about 25-30 years old entered the house, he didn't expect to see me here. As it turned out later, the man's name was Patrick, he was also a traveler, like me. Patrick also had a map and instructions to this house, and he also decided to take shelter here from a heavy snowfall, saving his life. Patrick was very cheerful and friendly, we had fun. The blizzard lasted for three more days, all this time we lived in this house and had a good time. We played board games with him, played the guitar, talked a lot to somehow pass the time. When the blizzard ended, we continued the hiking trip together again, since he went almost along the same route. But then my route turned towards the train station, and his route went a little further. Patrick and I said goodbye, but have since become good friends."
