1. Reduce your image file sizes. I’m a big fan of the webp format, which gives you the most bang for your buck when it comes to quality vs. size.
2. Check out the lazy loading technique, which doesn’t b other loading images until a user needs them, like those way down at the bottom of the page they might not even ever see unless they scroll down.
3. Minify your CSS and JavaScript files.
4. Use a Content Delivery Network to serve cached content from a server closest to the user’s location.
