The Badger 2040 is a E-Ink ID Badge based around the RP2040, the microcontroller used in the Raspberry Pi Pico. In this video I show a how to get started tutorial along with info on how I hacked the ID badge to create a game. I also compare it with a Raspberry Pi and InkyPHat badge I'd created previously.

It shows how to get started with badger 2040 and use the Badger OS. Using Thonny to configure the badge, upload images and other files such as a to-do list and ebooks.

I've also created a game Tic-Tac-Toe (noughts and crosses) designed for pass and play mode.

Please note that the Badger library software has been redesigned by Pimoroni. If starting a new project you may prefer to use the newer libraries used in my Badger 2040W example:    • Badger 2040W the hackable ID badge wi...
or my Badger 2040W menu system for controlling NeoPixels.
